Field Day (test)

ARRL Field Day…W0TLM style. Plan to join us at Fox Run Regional Park, off Roller Coaster Rd. and Stella Dr. in Pavilions 4 & 5. Set up will begin at 11:00 am with festivities continuing until 5:00 PM local time. Food service should begin at noon. Remember the club will provide BBQ Pulled Pork, with buns, baked beans, soda pop and water. We are asking club members to bring along a potluck dish to assist and provide for sides, salads, and sweet treats.

Activities will include radio operations, officially on the air at noon, utilizing your own equipment, as well as the club station. Consider this your chance to get on the air and make an HF contact. Additionally, for the first time we will be offering a “tailgate swap.” A couple of our members want to clean up their ham shacks with the thought that some of their wonderful and prized possessions would look great in your shack! Feel free to bring items that you may wish to part company with or better yet bring a shopping list. This should be fun.

Bring along your family and friends. There is a very nice playground near the pavilions. This event is open to the public and we want non-hams to see just how much fun we can have playing on the radio.
