Our club has a small but growing cache of equipment available for check-out by members. Checkout will ordinarily be for a maximum of 1 month, typically from meeting to meeting. Extended times will be on a case-by-case basis.
The club has a portable station available for loan to members. If you would like to borrow it, please contact us, and we'll get you on the schedule. The station consists of an Icom IC-7300 (HF + 6m rig), a Kenwood TMV71A (mobile VHF/UHF rig), a Diamond X50A VHF/UHF antenna, and a mast. The gear is expertly mounted in a hard case and the station includes a power supply and wire end-fed half-wave antennas (20m and 40m). These are valuable Club assets and may help you decide on your next radio.

Cross Needle SWR/Power Meter

The MFJ-815B DELUXE HF PEAK READING SWR/WATTMETER utilizes a cross-needle meter so that peak or average Foward power, Reflected power, and SWR can be read. Dummy Load
VCI DL-650M
The Vectronics DL-650M is a dry air cooled resistive dummy load using a tuned hyperbolic cone that is tunable over the frequency range. This feature allows power measurement up to 1000 MHz. This load is capable of dissipating up to 1500 watts average from DC to 650 MHz. A reasonable cool down period is needed to keep the resistor from becoming permanently damaged. (Typically 10-20 times the load usage.)
